Maggiore lake

The second largest lake of Italy, after Garda Lake, Maggiore Lake is one of the “pearls” of the norther Italy lake area.
Located to the south of the Alps, it has a mild climate that allows it to foster incredible natural landscapes and botanical gardens.
It is particularly famous for the Boromee islands, with the historical Borromeo family residences surrounded by astonishing Italian Gardens.
Many points of view up the hills around provide breath-taking overviews of the numerous lakes of the region crowned by the Alps.
