Belgium

Belgium is one of the smallest nations in Europe, yet it has three official languages and an intense regional rivalry between the Flemish-speaking north and the French-speaking south. Visiting medieval cities, quaint towns, gothic cathedrals and town halls, castles and carillons will keep you busy during your stay. Its historic cities – most famously Brussels, Bruges, Antwerp and Ghent – are the equal of any, as is its cuisine, with a host of regional specialities, alongside a marvellous range of beers and sumptuous chocolate.  At night go to a pub, there are more than 350 delicious beers to chose from. Belgium is historically one of the most complex and intriguing multicultural parts of Europe. Today, its capital city of Brussels is one of the world’s great cosmopolitan cities, home to both the European Union and NATO, as well as a wealth of international trade and finance companies.
